Well, this is awkward. A couple of days before Kristin Cavallari was sent packing by her NFL fiancé, Jay Cutler, she posed for Life & Style in a variety of white wedding gowns.

"I want a romantic, mystical wedding," the glowing reality starlet bubbled during the photo shoot, "with lots of flowers."

According to the tab, trouble started the next day, when the Chicago Bears quarterback asked the reality starlet to return with him to the Windy City.

"Kristin said she didn't want to because she's working on a new TV project and had a full day of shooting scheduled for Tuesday [July 26]," tattles a source, who says an argument soon began. "He told her that she needed to commit to him, and to move to Chicago."

Cutler apparently realized that Cavallari had no intention of giving up the business of show, so he ditched her and flew home alone.

"Kristin really loved Jay," notes the insider. "She is devastated."
