ET Online -- Jimmy Kimmel is engaged. The late-night talk show host popped the question to his girlfriend, Molly McNearney, while on an exotic vacation.

People.com reports that Kimmel, 44, asked McNearney, 34, to marry him while they were vacationing in South Africa's Kruger National Park.
Kimmel and McNearney, a co-head writer on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," have been dating since 2009.

This will be Kimmel's second marriage; he was married to his first wife, Gina, from 1988 to 2002, with whom he shares two children. Kimmel also dated comedian Sarah Silverman for several years until they split in 2009.
