Kelly Bensimon on Playboy: 'When you're nude, you're completely raw'

Kelly Bensimon looks great at 41 and she knows it.

The "Real NYC Housewife" joined Constantine Maroulis, Tinsley Mortimer and Alison Brie at the Luca Luca show in New York's Bryant Park on Valentine's Day, where she opened up to Wonderwall about why she posed for Playboy, what music got her through the shoot and her affection for a certain trio of brunette reality TV beauties.

WONDERWALL: How do you feel now that your Playboy issue is on the stands?

Kelly Bensimon: I mean it's raw, let's be honest. I mean when you're nude, you're completely raw and the whole world is judging me, not based on my hair color or what jacket I'm wearing, it's like, me and it's kind of a big deal. It's a little daunting.

WONDERWALL: How do you look so great at 41?

KB: Thank you so much! I have no idea, I mean if someone could tell me, I have no idea. I'm so blessed.

WONDERWALL: There has to be some discipline involved!

KB: I work really, really hard. I've always been very athletic all my life and I eat really well and I have a really healthful lifestyle. I mean, I have two kids and I'm up very early and I'm very athletic and I'm really grateful to have the life that I have.

WONDERWALL: Why did you want to do the Playboy shoot?

KB: I wanted to do it because I do have two girls, and I wanted to show not only them, but also women my age that you can have it all. You can look great, you can feel good and you can have a good life. You don't have to have weight on you and you don't have to be unhappy. I mean being fit helps your mind and your body.

WONDERWALL: How did the actual shoot go?

KB: When I was shooting for Playboy I listened to all this '80s rock. I'm really into '80s rock right now.

WONDERWALL: Which '80s rock band?

KB: AC/DC!

WONDERWALL: Are you going to check out the Kardashian sisters' line with Bebe?

KB: I would definitely look at it. I'm sure it's going to be sexy and awesome. I love the Kardashians. I watch that [show] all the time.

WONDERWALL: What makes you such a big fan?

KB: I love the fact that anybody draws attention to the fashion industry. If you can bring attention to the fashion industry, then that's another industry that's doing better. I love that. I think that's hot!
