Kim Kardashian talks her 'affordable' baby clothing line, dressing North West

USMagazine, Monday, February 10, 2014, 10:50am (PST)
  • It looks like the Dash Dolls are about to get smaller! Kim Kardashian confirmed she is working on a clothing line for babies while chatting with a fan on Mobio INsider on Feb. 9.

After the fan asked if the 33-year-old mother only dressed her 7-month-old daughter, North West, in designer clothes and if she'd ever style her little girl in something from Target, Kardashian replied, "absolutely! She wears everything. I even created a baby line, so there can be super affordable clothes for babies. It launches in March. Kids grow up so fast. You need affordable clothes!"

In addition to their chain of Dash stores, Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim Kardashian launched their Kardashian Kollection in Sears department stores in late 2012; the line features women's items from clothes to accessories to home decor.

Kim didn't go into further detail about the baby line, but the line's rep confirmed the March release and added that no Kardashian children would pose as models. A source reveals to Us Weekly, "They got the cutest baby models!"

According to a source close to Kim, the new line will be called Kardashian Kollection Kids.

The baby daughter of Kardashian and her rapper fiancé Kanye West already has plenty of experience with couture. For Christmas, her reality mogul mommy posted a series of Instagram shots of North's designer presents from Hermes, Charlotte Olympia, Stella McCartney, and Giuseppe Zanotti, gifted by Kardashian and West's designer pals.
