Birth Control Spokesperson

The Hills' Lauren Conrad may have a designer clothing line, but best friend/housemate Lo Bosworth is now hocking a product that's even more practical for today's teens: birth control pills.

According to Perez Hilton, Bosworth will be the new spokesgirl for the Yaz birth control pill in Canada. Do they even watch The Hills in Canada? Last we heard, those Canucks were pretty loyal to Degrassi: The Next Generation, but whatever. Project Runway judge Nina Garcia has the spokeswoman job here in the States, which is also weird, but again, we digress.

Not since 50 Cent came out with his own line of LifeStyles condoms, Magic Stick, have we been quite this verklempt over a celebrity birth control product endorsement. We think The Hills kids make perfect poster children for birth control, it's just that we wish Yaz had offered the gig to Heidi Montag instead, as we've always felt that her procreating with Spencer Pratt could very well bring about worldwide Armageddon.

But you can't have everything, and as far as birth control spokespeople go, this pill isn't too hard to swallow either.
