For Arnold Schwarzenegger, 2012 was a year of bouncing back after his secret love child-incited fall from grace. He was photographed multiple times with his ex, Maria Shriver, despite revelations that he cheated on her many times during their 25 year marriage. He filmed three new movies and appeared in "The Expendables 2." And when interviewed about his controversial memoir, he seemed to believe that it was time the truth came out, for better or worse.
Looking ahead to 2013, Ah-nie shares what he's learned over the years with the January issue of Esquire -- and shows his compassionate side in the process: "I always tell my accountant, if you're in doubt about taxes, pay more," says the former governor. "No Cayman Island offshore investments. No gimmicks. I love paying my taxes!" He's equally magnanimous when it comes to tipping: "Saving money on tips is nonsense. Give 20 or 25 percent. Wise investments are where the action is." As for the future of world politics? "Peace would solve a lot of problems." (Esquire)
