Twitterview: Melissa Joan Hart

We've been following actress Melissa Joan Hart's career for a long time, and now we follow her on Twitter, too. The former teen star of shows like “Clarissa Explains It All” and “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” is a mother of two and an audience favorite on “Dancing With the Stars.” Melissa Joan (aka MellyJHart) took a break from practicing her jive to tweet with us about the show, her BTFs (Best Twitter Friends), a new TV pilot with Joey Lawrence and more. @WonderwallMSN: Hi there! Glad to make your tweet-quaintance. First question: Who are your BTFs [Best Twitter Friends]?

@MellyJHart: [Mark] Ballas, [Soleil] Moon Frye and Jaime Pressly.

@WonderwallMSN: Have you heard from other long lost friends/former co-stars who are now watching DWTS too?

@MellyJHart: @moonfrye, @reddonovan [Soleil Moon Frye and Elisa Donovan].

@WonderwallMSN: We see Mark Ballas is not only your partner, but your follower on Twitter. Do your children wonder why mommy is dancing with that guy who isn't daddy on TV?

@MellyJHart: The kids don't have the attention span to watch me dance, but they looove Mr. Mark and know he is my coach.

@WonderwallMSN: You two seem to be audience favorites. How did you feel about your scores this week? Two sixes and a seven. Not too shabby.

@MellyJHart: Not happy with the scores, but our fans saved our bums!

@WonderwallMSN: What's your favorite dance move?

@MellyJHart: The sausage roll at the beginning of the jive when I go under [Mark's] legs.

@WonderwallMSN: What are your favorite songs to dance to?

@MellyJHart: Can't fight the power of the song “Jai Ho” and Shakira, but I am a rock girl! Course of Nature, Breaking Ben, Three Days Grace, etc.

@WonderwallMSN: If you had Sabrina's powers, would you rig “DWTS”?

@MellyJHart: Sabrina's powers couldn't help me here. I wouldn't if I could. I like to win because I deserve it. No point otherwise!

@WonderwallMSN: We hear u have a new pilot with Joey Lawrence.

@MellyJHart: SO excited to get back on a sitcom. Joey and I have been friends since we were 5.

@WonderwallMSN: Whoa! LOL. Joey was also on DWTS. Has he given you any tips?

@MellyJHart: He said, "Don't do it unless you are in it to win it." So that's my plan. Joey and his sweet wife are going to come to a show soon and support me. Just talked to Joey and he says he has been voting for me... so sweet right?

@WonderwallMSN: Where are Ferguson [the little brother from “Clarissa Explains it All”] and Salem [the cat from “Sabrinam the Teenage Witch"] now?

@MellyJHart: Not sure about Ferg, but Salem is … at the puppetry museum in Atlanta!

@WonderwallMSN: On “Clarissa Explains it All,” how did you learn to write backwards for the opening credits?

@MellyJHart: Funny, everyone asks the backwards Clarissa question but I wrote it correct and then it spun around. Remember TV is backward.

@WonderwallMSN: Last question. You look awesome. What is your weightloss/fitness secret?

@MellyJHart: Thanks soooo much! Lovely to hear always! No secret, but protein shakes help and getting the “hart” moving.
